Eating Fruit After Meal
The fruit is known to be among the healthiest foods however you should not consume it at any time. It is best to consume fruit in the morning because it includes sugars that are hard to digest after a meal and they may stay in the stomach, decompose and provoke gas.

We all want to take a nap after eating, however, you should try to avoid this because first of all, you will have heartburns because the digestive juices will rise through the food pipe. Another thing that may happen is snoring and sleep apnea because the food pressures the diaphragm. It is recommended not to go to sleep for at least 2 hours after eating.

If you take a shower just after you have your meal, your body circulation will be concentrated on the other parts of your body rather than on your stomach, so that may result in digestive issues. Wait for a minimum of 30 minutes and then you can have a shower.

Drinking Tea
There are 2 opinions about tea. The first one is that there are phenolic compound included in the tea which affects the absorption of iron so that is why you should avoid drinking tea after a meal. The second one is that drinking tea after eating is actually beneficial because it will lower the formation of gas in the stomach. In this case, it is recommended to consume green, ginger or herbal tea.

It takes a little time to digest the food so it is not recommended to exercise just after a meal because the digestion will be disrupted and that can result in loose motions and vomiting as well. You should eat several hours before going to the gym.

Going for a Walk
It is believed that it is good to walk after you eat, but surprisingly this is not true. This can cause indigestion and acid reflux. Instead, you should wait at least 30 minutes, and then you can go for a walk.
