Low Carb Cheeseburger Cabbage Wraps

You will use the cabbage in this recipe as a bun replacement; however, the leaves need to be big so that you can wrap the whole burger.

With this recipe, you will get 4 serving and you will need around one hour to prepare this meal. Take a look at the things that you will need:


  • 4 large green cabbage leaves (from 1 head)
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • Pickle chips, for serving


  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Method of preparation:

Take one bowl, add water and get it to boil. Then use tongs in order to dip the leaves of the cabbage inside for around half a minute each. Then put them aside on the towel in order to dry.

Then prepare the sauce: take one bowl and add inside mustard, mayonnaise, garlic, and vinegar, you can also add salt and pepper and mix everything in order to get smooth.

Prepare the burgers: Divide the beef into 4 patties and then season them with salt and pepper. Then put them to cook on medium heat for a period of 6 minutes maximum.

Then flip them on the other side and cook them for another 6 minutes. Then at the last minute of the cooking add the cheese at the top.

Then put this burger patty on one of the edges of the cabbage leaf on the tickets part. Then add inside pickles, tomato, and onion. Then fold the opposite end of the leaf and the side as well and roll in order to wrap the whole burger. Serve it together with the sauce.
